In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. Romans 8:26-27 As a believer, you are not left to your own resources to cope with problems. Even when you don't know the right words to pray, the Holy Spirit prays with you and for you, and God answers. With God helping you pray, you don't need to be afraid to come before Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you "in accordance with God's will." Then, when you bring your requests to God, trust that he will always do what is best. We do not need to come to Him with a lot of words and sound all holy and devout in order to be heard by God. He hears the simplest prayers of a child. Children don't beat around the bush when they pray. They get right to the point. Whatever they need, they ask for it; pure and simple. We need to remember to do the same. God has plans for you beyond what you can ask or imagine. He will not fail you. He will guide you towards all Peace. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Look to Him. Rely on Him. I just post these in order...the same order J.H. posted them. All I add is one of our pictures, but it's spooky how relevant to the day they are. I guess that is the amazing thing with God's word. It is always relevant. I really don't know what to pray for...I don't even know what I want. Holy Spirit, please intercede with me in accodance with God's will.
