The fab four

I Asked The Lord To Bless You
As I prayed for you today
To guide and protect you
As you go along your way.

His love is always with you,
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares
You know He'll see us through

So when the road you're traveling on
Seems difficult at best
Just remeber I'm here praying
and God will do the rest

What do you believe?

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him.

1 John 5:14-15

The emphasis here is on God's will, not our will. When we talk with God, we don't demand what we want; rather we discuss with Him what He wants for us. If we align our prayers to His will, He will listen; and we can be certain that if He listens, He will give us a definite answer. Start praying with confidence today! Many of us find things in His Word and begin to wonder if it's for us. Take Him at His Word. Believe what He says. Our faith in God has to be built on trust in his Word. Do you believe what He says? Do you believe that it applies to you? Do you believe that the miracles that are recorded in the Bible can take place in your life? As Christians, we will automatically answer, "Yes" to those questions, but when we search deep down into our souls, we begin to realize that our faith is not as strong as we thought; that doubt and fear tend to well up and eat away at our faith. But I ask the question again: Do you believe what God says? Either the Bible is all true or it's not. There is no middle-ground. You cannot pick and choose which parts of the Bible work for you and which parts fit into your idea of who God is. He is who He says he is. Period. If your faith is weak, your concept of God is incomplete and your prayer should be simple: "Lord, increase my faith." And He will answer your prayer.

God Bless you,
J.H.

Speak your faith

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once, and possess the land; for we are well able to overcome it." Numbers 13:30 Don't you like to hear someone who follows a negative report with some straight forward talk expressing a God-given faith? You be that person. Believe God for anything. Speak your faith and He will surely come through. "If God be for us, who can possibly be against us?" God Bless you, J.H.

Faith

And the Lord said, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you. Luke 17:6 Words are powerful. Spoken faith is a mighty force capable of bringing to pass what appears to be impossible. What impossible obstacles are you facing today? What are you going through that is just weighing you down and shows no signs of letting up? Dare to believe God for anything. Lord, we believe You for great miracles today in Jesus' precious Name. Amen. God Bless you, J.H.

Power

By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days. Hebrews 11:30 There is no wall thick enough or fortified enough to stand against one seed of faith. On with the march, Christian Soldiers! Faith, praise, power and obedience will see the walls down and the windows of Heaven open. The power of God is immense and never-ending. We cannot even fathom what God has in store and what He is prepared to do, if we would but ask. I pray for courage, discernment and wisdom for everyone reading these words so that they could see Your powerful hand moving and working in their lives today. Father, we thank you for what You have done and what You are doing, in Jesus' Name. God Bless you, J.H.

Drinking from my saucer

DRINKING FROM MY SAUCER

I've never made a fortune and it's probably too late now,
But I don't worry about that much I'm happy anyhow.
And as I go along life's way I'm reaping better than I sow,
I'm drinking from my saucer 'Cause my cup has overflowed.
.
Haven't got a lot of riches and sometimes the going's tough,
But I've got loving ones around me and that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for his blessings and the mercies He's bestowed,
I'm drinking from my saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.
.
O, Remember times when things went wrong
My faith wore somewhat thin,
But all at once the dark clouds broke
and sun peeped through again.
So Lord, help me not to gripe about the tough rows that I've hoed,
I'm drinking from my saucer "Cause my cup has overflowed"
.
If God gives me strength and courage
When the way grows steep and rough,
I'll not ask for other blessings I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy to help others bear their loads,
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer
"Cause my cup has overflowed."

Live Victoriously!

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:6-7

Because of Christ's resurrection, we know that our bodies will also be raised from the dead and that we have been given the power to live as Christians now. These ideas are combined in Paul's image of sitting with Christ in "the heavenly realms." Our eternal life with Christ is certain because we are united in his powerful victory. Live victoriously today. The battle is already won!

God bless you,

JH

Live in Love

And over all these virtues put on love, which pardons them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.

Colossians 3:14-15

All the virtues that Paul encourages us to develop are perfectly bound together by love. As we clothe ourselves with these virtues, the last garment we are to put on is love, which holds all of the others in place. To practice any list of virtues without practicing love will lead only to distortion and stagnation. All Christians should live in peace with one another. To live in peace does not mean that suddenly all differences in opinion are eliminated, but it does require that loving Christians work together despite their differences. Such love is not a feeling, but it is a decision to meet others' needs. It is a decision to put other people's needs and desires before your own. To live in love leads to peace between individuals, among families and among the members of the body of believers. Do problems in your relationship with other Christians cause open conflicts or mutual silence? Consider what you can do to heal those relationships with love. Allow God to love you, and you in turn will learn to love others and to live in harmony with one another.

God bless you,

J.H.

I'll try this for march 1'st again

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Isaiah 1:18

Scarlet, or crimson, was the color of a deep red permanent dye, and its deep stain was virtually impossible to remove from clothing. The stain of sin seems equally permanent, but God can remove sin's stain from our lives as He promised to do for the Israelites. We don't have to go through life permanently soiled. God's Word assures us that if we are willing and obedient, Christ will forgive and remove our most indelible stains. More time should be spent in taking our sins to God instead of brooding over them. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us." There is great freedom to be found here. Freedom in Christ is not the freedom to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it. Only children or immature believers use their freedom as a license to experience their hearts' content. True freedom is found when you are no longer held down by the guilt caused by the sins of your past. In order to experience this freedom, you must accept His forgiveness. You must accept that you are His chosen child and that you are worthy of His forgiveness.

God Bless you,

J.H.

Today I smiled, and all at once
Things didn't look so bad.
Today I shared with someone else,
A little bit of hope I had.
Today I sang a little song,
And felt my heart grow light.
I walked a happy little mile,
With not a cloud in sight.
Today I worked with what I had,
And longed for nothing more,
And what had seemed like only weeds,
Were flowers at my door.
Today I loved a little more,
And complained a little less.
And in the giving of myself,
I forgot my weariness.

A heartbeat from heaven

A Heartbeat From Heaven

We are living on the border
Of eternity each day;
We are just as close to Heaven
As the stars so far away.
And the only thing between us,
Whether we are big or small,
Is a tender little heartbeat,
Just a heartbeat,that is all

Just a heartbeat from the glory,
Just a heartbeat, nothing more.
Just a tender little heartbeat,
til we walk the golden shore.
Keep your lamp all trimmed and burning,
Let it shine you'll never fall;
Just a heartbeat from the glory,
Just a heartbeat that is all.

In this land of sin and sorrow,
Whether old or in our prime,
We are only just a heartbeat
From the grave at any time.
No one has a lease on living,
At any moment death may call,
It is only by God's mercy
That we live and breathe at all.

There is a place beyond the river
Where we will lay our burdens down,
Where we will meet our friends and loved ones,
And we will wear a starry crown.
All our troubles will be over
And no tears shall ever fall;
Just a heartbeat from the glory,
Just a heartbeat, that is all.

Nothin to say
