Never Alone

Hear my cry, oh God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge.

Psalm 61:1-3

David must have been far from home when he wrote this psalm. Fortunately, God is not limited to any geographic location. He is everywhere. Even when we are among unknown people and in unfamiliar surroundings, God never abandons or forsakes us. The "higher" rock would be a plain of refuge and safety. God's all surpassing strength is always with us. Remember, as alone as you may feel during difficult times, you never really are. He is there. Rely on Him today.

God Bless you,

J.H.
